I want to note that Matt is back with a new blog.
I'm very touched by the comments and the emails about my blog. A lot of people have expressed hope that I will not give up on blogging. I don't know what the future holds. I do appreciate the encouragement, though.
When I last posted (below) I already had a few new things in the works. Some GUN PORN that I will post. I don't know if that means I will be a regular blogger again, but it is eating at me that there is still some unfinished business. Expect some photos of a couple of guns to pop up on this blog sometime soon.
One very special person didn't just suggest that I keep taking pictures, but forcefully insisted that I continue. So the camera isn't retired just yet, but is on a vacation.

I understand your thoughts on running a Blog. I really do. To do one well requires some time and some baring of one's soul to do well (see my Blog for the obverse).
You have done so and I am honored to count you among my friends. I still subscribe to the rule that if it is no longer fun I will not continue to play.

If you are happy that is what counts. :) Still want some prints for my wall! Will actually be able to start having money saved soon as the longer-than-expected live-in fam is moving out! Yay. Keeping my eyes peeled for canvas sales through my store. I bet they would look great like that.
North - yer my buddy, yer on my blog list, whenever you post i come on over and read. i don't care if you post daily or only once a month, just as long as you stay around and let us know how you are from time to time and what you've been up to! and i am glad that Matt is back, too!

When you want..Life sometimes makes demands other then what we want..
I want you to be happy. To do what you need to, but this post gives me a little hope that you will blog from time time. Even though I talk to you off line, I just can't get enough:)
Hang in there! Blogging time comes and goes, and sometimes you have to let things slip for awhile.

I think we all understand the ebb and flow that comes with blogging. I can understand and respect the decision. I also agree with your assessment of Keads.
