I used a rice maker. Let things cool, then used a sweet rice wine. That seriously reduced the rice effort. Results were pretty good.Top is shrimp, asparagus, carrot. Bottom is cucumber, cream cheese, smoked salmon as inspired by you. Sauces were random experiments.
