A husband, a maker of things, and a man of manners - owning a gun, a grill, and a sense of humor
Very nice. How true. Friends are a treasure. They are few and far between in my travels; the ones I have I am truly thankful for.
You always have the best quotes. I like this one, a lot. One should never underestimate the power of friendship in your life. You can like, you can love- but without friendship, you are lost.
Very good words, sir. And Maura's correct.
I love both the quote and Maura's response!! You both rock!!

So, so true. Friends are deeply valuable.
Thank you all. I hold my friends very close to my heart.
Sorry, I read the "unbosoms" part and lost the train of thought...
I like this old Arabian proverb:"A friend is one to whom one may pour out all the contents of one's heart, chaff and grain together;Knowing that the gentlest of hands will take and sift it;Keep what is worth keeping; And, with the breath of kindness, blow the rest away."I think it complements your definition nicely, no?
